Good morning

I've been super productive today. I've gotten myself up from my bed, dragged my body to the livingroom, turned on the television, placed the laptop on my lap and polished my nails. I've been awake for hours now, got up at 8.30 am, which is too early for a Saturday. But that's ok, because it's been a beautiful morning. It's sunny at the moment and I hope it stays like that, but I doubt it though. The weather this summer, has been so unstable. I hope the sun stays, because I want to wear this dress today.

Later today, we'll be going to Ekeberg for the Norway Cup opening show, NRJ In the park. Artists like Samsaya, Anine Stang, D'Sound and Locnville will be performing. I'm really excited about seeing Locnville! The show starts at 7 pm by the way.

In love with the new nail polish

If you lost out, fear not more greatness is coming. August 22nd these people will be performing at Rockefeller. Can you believe it? It's going to be epic, I can tell!

Gaga cover

Gaga is queen. A queen, no THE Queen. I love her music and her style.

Here are my top 3 Lady Gaga covers:

1. This is the best Gaga cover I've ever heard. Saw it on Glee a little while ago. P-p-p- pokerface

2. Lissie's cover is a strong runner- up. Love this.

3. Cute cover from All Time Low

Vintage Gaga. Enjoy!

Fisk og Vilt

Yesterday evening we went to Fisk og Vilt. Our first time there and we're definitly going back. Cool people and great music, it can't go wrong with that. Too bad I had to be at work 8 am this morning, which meant I had to leave early. Well, well.

If you haven't been there before, you should check it out. Every Wednesday from 11 pm.

The Jacket

I got a question asking me what the jacket I wore the other day looks like on. So here it goes. Chinyere and I found it at a flea market earlier this year and we loved it instantly! I think we paid 40 or 50 kr for it, which is nothing. The jacket reminds me of the Lion King and I keep humming songs from the soundtrack whenever I see it. Love.

Last weekend

Here are some pictures from last week, when one of my favorite people in the world, Nneka, was in town.

We met up with Helfner and Torbjørn. Nneka and Helfner go way back, they used to rhyme and beat box in the playground.

Proud sisters: Chioma is in the latest issue of TOPP magazine. Make sure you get a copy!

Oslo Live Pictures

Oslo Live was held this week at Kontraskjæret and I attended the festival Friday and Saturday.

Friday
I was under the impression that I'd be able to view parts of the concerts, but that didn't really happen. I got to listen though. Kontraskjæret was crowded on Friday, about 9.500 people showed up, which meant a lot of beer's sold.

Beer lovers. The lines were ridiculous. I've never seen anything like it. You'd think we were giving beer away for free.

Before Friday's concert I was really excited about seeing Kent and Bilal. The sound wasn't that great when Bilal was on, but he's performance was still good. Kent on the other hand were great, real superstars. I also enjoyed Sivert Høyem, I didn't realize that I'm actually a fan of a lot of his music.

Saturday
On Saturday I met Bun B randomly at Oslo City. He was walking alone minding his own business, till I stopped him. At first I wasn't sure if it was him or not (because he was walking alone), but then I thought "who else could it be?". I asked to be sure, I was like "Excuse me, but aren't you Mr. Bun B?" Haha. To bad I didn't have a camera at that point.

The rest of the day was comfortable compared to the day before. There weren't that many people there, so I got to enjoy the performances.

Nneka!
